Because today you will learn everything you need to know to finally be successful on Tinder.
You’re EXPOSED: Tinder knows about all your felonies!
In case you didn’t know: The king of dating apps tracks the exact spot you leave your mark.
You swipe anything that comes in front of your finger to the right?
Noticed.
You only get likes from women who are rather unattractive?
Saved.
You sporadically text women back?
Registered.
You hardly “maintain” your profile and never update it?
Guess what… Tinder remembers that, too.
Now you’re wondering?
Watch it.
Your profile will be evaluated according to a mysterious algorithm.
If you do many things that an unattractive man would rather do, your profile will be assigned a correspondingly lower score.
>> Tinder ELO Score: How It Really Works + How to Hack for More Matches.
This score is used to determine which women and whether you will be shown at all.
Put yourself in the shoes of the app creators.
First and foremost, they want you to stay motivated to use the app.
So, what do you need for that?
Users who meet at least these 3 criteria:
- High activity (users who don’t swipe for days, so that hardly any matches occur and don’t wait for days to respond)
- Presentable profile (people you can be sure are not fake profiles and take the app seriously, which they can signalize by a careful choice of pictures; multiple and high quality pictures)
- Standards (someone who swipes everything right doesn’t seem to have too serious intentions after all; many catfishes like everything so that they can spam their matches with dubious links)
This way, users get the feeling that they have a high chance of making interesting acquaintances.
>> Best Way to Start a Tinder Conversation if You Want More Dates.
Which motivates them to continue using the app.
What happens to users who don’t fulfill all three sacred pillars – for example, are relatively inactive (hardly ever swipe or respond every two centuries)?
They’re downgraded by the algorithm in their score (their so-called “ELO score”), which significantly affects their Tinder experience.
This makes them more likely to be shown to users who have a similar score.
In the match game of particularly attractive and popular users, they’re often OUT.
This means that they’re displayed to fewer people and less attractive profiles.
Shit.
If there wasn’t an emergency button…
Profile reset = digital reincarnation to Tinder Jesus?
Resetting your profile (= deleting it, uninstalling the app reinstalling the app and creating a new profile) can be a blessing, but also a complete disaster.
Over many years this simple method has worked wonders.
In the eyes of the app you were a completely new user:
- You had a second chance to match women you weren’t even shown to
- At the beginning of your career, you got a “beginner boost”, which increased your range, so you could collect even more spicy matches
- Your “criminal record” of unattractive behavior got erased
At first, only a few men realized the magical effect of a Tinder reset.
But very soon their words hit the world and every guy spammed the “delete account” button as if there was no tomorrow, only to get an account with a juicy “beginner boost”.
A boost that usually costs money.
The developers of Tinder eventually realized this and did something that became the downfall of many enthusiastic resetters…
They released an update.
Because with this update, all users who abused the reset every day were suddenly registered.
From now on, the algorithm could track exactly who is deleting Tinder, how often and at what intervals.
From then on, nobody could benefit from the beginner boost a second time.
If you’re a particularly persistent resetter, there’s even a chance that Tinder has put you on its shadowban list by now.
(In which case, you don’t even know you’re banned.)
You can log in as usual, but you will only be shown to a few or even NO women.
You can forget about matches…

To get back to the original question:
Is it smart to reset your Tinder account / Should and can I reset Tinder?
Well, it’s more of a last resort. I only recommend it to you when you’ve nothing left to lose.
In addition, you may not benefit from a “normal” reset if you simply delete your account and recreate it in exactly the same way (after all, Tinder seems to remember that and shadowbans you).
A Tinder hard reset is, therefore, necessary here. I will show you step by step how to perform it.
But first, you should know in which cases such a HARD RESET makes sense:
- You live in a city with a large population, but in the match game you regularly get “There’s no one new around you?” Then you probably got “shadowbanned” – time for a reset!
- You haven’t been active on Tinder for weeks or months? Then your Elo score is probably down to basement level. Reset.
- You recently had better photos taken of you to upload? Then use them with a new account.
If you decide to reset, make sure you give your profile a nice facelift at the same time.
If in doubt, you might not get many matches because your profile is just not good enough.

How to reset a Tinder account: THIS is how you do it
When it comes to completely deleting your Tinder criminal record, there are three ways to do this, depending on how you first logged/registered with Tinder.
Did you sign up via Facebook or just by your number?
Once you figure that out, choose the scenario that applies to you.
#1: If you’re technically inexperienced and a patient madafakka
If you want to perform a reset without getting a new email, Facebook profile or mobile number, let me tell you something.
There’s a way you can do this WITHOUT ANY EXPENSES.
All you have to do is: Be patient.
More precisely, for three months.
According to countless user reports Tinder seems to delete the data of former users after about 3 months.
For example, if you delete your account on January 1st and create one on April 2nd (while using the same email/ Facebook profile), Tinder will treat you as a new user.
But while you’re waiting, make sure you have strong photos and a memorable profile text ready for your second attempt.
Otherwise, you might just be wasting your time.
#2: If you’ve registered via your mobile number
- Open Tinder and tap on “Settings” by switching to the “Profile” tab
![]()
- Scroll down in the menu and tap on “Delete account”.
- Confirm your wish and click on “Delete my account”.
- Uninstall the Tinder app
- You’re a former Tinder Plus or Gold user? Then you will need to use another Google Play account or Apple ID
- Download Tinder
- Open the app and create a new account
- You don’t need a new mobile phone number if you wait three months between deleting your account and creating a new account; in all other cases:
- Have the SMS / WhatsApp code to verify your new Tinder account sent to another mobile phone – e.g. to the mobile phone of one of your parents, siblings, friends who don’t use Tinder
- Et voilà: The algorithm of the app registers you as a new user
#3: If you’ve registered via Facebook
- Open Tinder and tap on “Settings” by switching to the “Profile” tab
![]()
- Scroll down in the menu and tap on “Delete account”.
- Confirm your wish and click on “Delete my account”.
- Uninstall the Tinder app
- Open the Facebook profile that you’ve linked to your Tinder account
- Click on the small arrow pointing down in the upper right corner of the question mark symbol
![]()
- Tap on “Settings”.
- Scroll to “Apps and Websites“
- Find Tinder in the listing and remove it by tapping the “X” next to it
- Confirm the action
- Create a NEW Facebook account with a different email address
- You’re a former Tinder Plus or Gold user? Then you will need to use another Google Play account or Apple ID
- Download Tinder
- Open the app and create a new account by connecting it to your new Facebook profile
- Have the SMS/ WhatsApp code to verify your new Tinder account sent to another mobile phone – e.g. to the mobile phone of one of your parents, siblings, friends who don’t use Tinder
- Et voilà: The algorithm of the app registers you as a new user
